SSS 100 PASSPORT PROJECT

Educational excellence and workforce readiness takes intentional planning and hard work. The SSS 100 passport project equips students with learning that helps you meet your goals.  STC believes your holistic development is too important to leave to chance and have intentionally named three cocurricular priorities to enable you to make the most of your time at STC. You will participate in activities outside of class as a part of this assignment.  View this STC video for a snapshot of the adventures ahead of you! Since you will need to manage your career, learning, well-being, and leadership after graduation, you will practice the habit of identifying your goals and managing your learning during this project.

SSS 100 Passport Project: Your Path to Personal and Professional Growth

At Southeast Tech, your success goes beyond the classroom. The SSS 100 Passport Project is designed to help you grow in key areas that matter for your future—career readiness, personal wellness, and civic responsibility.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll complete 4 different tasks throughout the semester that support your learning and development. These events are your chance to:

  • Explore your interests
  • Connect with campus resources
  • Build habits for lifelong wellness and success

*Each event or task you complete must be different. For example, if you participate in intramural bowling every week or complete a Student Lingo module from the Civic Responsibility option list, it only counts once.

Why It Matters: This project helps you:

  • Assess your needs and take action for personal wellness
  • Engage with STC resources that support your success
  • Reflect on your growth in career readiness, civic engagement, or personal responsibility
  • Apply new knowledge across the 6 Dimensions of Wellbeing: physical, emotional, social, intellectual, occupational, and spiritual.

Passport Project Overview: Throughout the semester, you’ll complete four different Passport tasks of your choice. Both in-person (if you’re on campus) and online task options are listed on the Passport Choice Board (located under ‘Passport Choices’ in the Passport Project tab).

    • First Reflection:
Complete two tasks before Week 8. Your first reflection is due during Week 8 (check coursework for the exact date).

    • Second Reflection:
Complete two additional tasks before Week 15. Your second reflection is due during Week 15 (check coursework for the exact date).
