Description
This course focuses on practical application of working at heights using various methods of fall protection, especially use of the Personal Fall Protection System, Rope Access techniques, and rescue systems. Other topics include: emergency response, dropped objects, electricity and electrical safety, "struck by"/"caught between", radio frequency (RF) energy, ladders, excavations, heavy machinery, traffic control, hazard identification and mitigation, and situational awareness Corequisite: WIT 120 , WIT 130 , WIT 140
