I am very fortunate to have worked in Higher Education for about 8 years, most of which have been in the classroom with students. I have taught at SDSU, USD, MN West, and now at Southeast Tech. Courses I have taught include: Soc 100 Intro to Soc, Soc 150 Social Problems, Soc 250 Marriage and Family, Soc 450 Race and Ethnic groups. I would love to teach Sociology of Education and Medical Sociology!!!

Description

A sociological analysis of the causes and proposed solutions of contemporary social problems confronting society today. It includes an analysis of the significance of the problems and current policies and actions. The course is designed to encourage debate and to get students to consider different positions or viewpoints with regard to social issues.
