Description
Students will engage in hands-on exploration of the heart, lungs, and their associated vascular and bronchial systems. The lab sessions will focus on practical demonstrations and experiments to understand the mechanisms of ventilation, gas exchange, perfusion, and the regulatory pathways vital for maintaining effective hemodynamic and respiratory functions. Through a series of detailed simulations and diagnostic tests, students will observe and analyze the complexities of cardiopulmonary physiology from neonatal to adult stages. Prerequisite: CHEM 106, CHEM 106L, MATH 103 or MATH 114, HC 118, HC 118L, ENGL 101, PSYC 101 Corequisite: RT 101, RT 101L, RT 102, RT 102L, RT 200
