Description

Beginning with foundational principles of pulmonary physiology, students will delve into the nuances of mechanical ventilators, their modes of operation, and the critical role they play in patient care, especially in critical and intensive care settings. Additionally, the course emphasizes the ethical considerations and interdisciplinary collaboration necessary when managing patients on life support. Prerequisite: RT 201, RT 201L, RT 110S Corequisite: RT 107L, RT 108L, RT 109L, RT 202, RT 202L, RT 203S
