I am a Health Core instructor teaching courses that students are required to take before entering into one of the healthcare fields offered here at Southeast tech. 

Work Experience:

Over thirty years of nursing experience ranging from Medical-Surgical, Neurology, Orthopedic, Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care, Executive Management, Cardiology.  

Education Background:

Diploma of Nursing, St. Luke's School of Nursing

R.N. to M.S.N with Education Specialty, Walden University

Description

Students will understand the basic duties, skills and responsibilities in the role as a phlebotomist. Students will explore the scope of practice along with legal principles and state and federal regulations of health information including HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA.
