Description

RN Role assists the student's transition into an Associate Degree nursing program with the emphasis on the RN scope of practice. Students will focus on the RN roles of provider of care, manager of care and member within the discipline of nursing. Opportunities are available for student to analyze self-behaviors that reflect the ethical values and professional identity of the registered nurse. Prerequisite: MICR 231, PHGY 210, CHEM 106, CHEM 106L, MATH 103 or MATH 114 or MATH 120, SOC 150 or SOC 250
