Description

This course provides a comprehensive overview of pharmacology, focusing on the interactions between drugs and body systems. Students will explore the principles of drug action, including pharmacokinetics (how the body absorbs, distributes, metabolizes, and excretes drugs) and pharmacodynamics (the effects of drugs on the body). They will learn the medications and be familiar with pronunciations and uses. Prerequisite: MA 101, MA 101L, HC 118 , HC 118L, HC 117 Corequisite: MA 121, MA 121L
