Description

Introduces students to perspectives in maternal and child health nursing. Course focuses upon the nursing care throughout the childbearing process including emphasis on pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, and the newborn. In addition, the study of child health and childhood diseases from infancy through adolescence along with the child with special needs will be incorporated into the course. Prerequisite: LPN 104, LPN 104L , LPN 104S , LPN 114 Corequisite: LPN 120S
