Work History

Currently owns and operates Stonegate at the Emerald Forest a design, build, plant installation landscape firm and cut your own Christmas tree plantation. Stonegate at the Emerald Forest was started in 1991. Managed Superior Landscaping and Lawn Care from 1992 to 1997. Landscape Designer for Cliff Aveunue Greehhouse & Garden Center from 1985 to 1992. Other related work experiences: Oakridge Landscaping, Minnehaha County Extension Office Horticulture intern, Young & Richards Florist.

Description

Details of landscape construction techniques and estimating will be studied in the classroom. An emphasis will be placed on the implementation of actual landscape projects involving but not limited to: soil preparation, plantings, walls, paving materials, natural stone, wood, edging materials, and mulches. Corequisite: HT 211 L
