Description

This course is designed around workplace writing tasks. Students will learn to evaluate audience, solve problems, and develop strategies for writing collaboratively. They will write instructions, reports, memos and letters. The course emphasizes using correct mechanics and clear style; using format effectively to improve document readability; choosing and designing visuals for audience; and managing time and multiple projects. Prerequisite: ENGL 101
