Description

This pre-academic course prepares students for success in ENGL 101. Students will be able to engage in and articulate the writing process along with other essential writing elements such as mechanics, usage and grammar. Students build confidence and gain personal writing tactics as they identify and practice rhetorical strategies useful for approaching college-level writing assignments including paragraphs and academic essays. This course does not fulfill graduation requirements. Prerequisite: Placement (successful completion of this course is required to enroll in ENGL 101)
