Description

In this course, students will master the parasternal long axis and parasternal short axis views including the 2D black and white images, 2D measurements, color doppler optimization, and spectral doppler optimization and measurements. Students will continue to work on ergonomics, infection control, and machine manipulation to become proficient in all parasternal imaging during the echocardiographic examination. Prerequisite: HC 117, HC 118, HC 118L, MATH 103 or MATH 114, CNA certificate or HC 106, PHYS 100, CV 123, CVS 103, CVS 103L, CVS 113, CVS 113L, HC 103
