STI Instructor Bio:

Roger Morris, Computer Programming Instructor, has 27+ years of professional experience that includes the companies General Electric, Kodak, United States Coast Guard, Berkley Information Services as well as Southeast Technical Institute. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Missouri Institute of Technology. Roger teaches several core programming classes such as: SQL, Java, RPG, and Computer Applications.


Description

Students looking to take this course must find and be accepted into an internship on their own prior to taking this course. Internships must also be approved by a student's academic advisor(s) to be accepted for this course. Students will deepen their technical skills, critical thinking, communication, and professionalism through industry related experience in the workplace. Prerequisite: CIS 130, CIS 196
