STI Instructor Bio:

Roger Morris, Computer Programming Instructor, has 27+ years of professional experience that includes the companies General Electric, Kodak, United States Coast Guard, Berkley Information Services as well as Southeast Technical Institute. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Missouri Institute of Technology. Roger teaches several core programming classes such as: SQL, Java, RPG, and Computer Applications.


Description

This course will build skills previously developed with advanced techniques in TSQL including subqueries, stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, and security practices. In addition, students will be exploring current/modern languages of databases and tools. Prerequisite: CIS 194
