Dana Wolff

Financial Services Instructor, has 30+ years of professional experience that includes banking, mortgage, investments, accounting, and post-secondary education. She earned her Master's in Human Resource Management at the University of South Dakota, Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at Black Hills State University. She has taught at the secondary and post-secondary level and holds a secondary credential as well as a post-secondary credential. As an educator, Dana has taught many financial services and business courses including: Accounting, Personal Finance, Principles of Investments, Trust Operations, Internships, and Human Resource Management. She continues her professional educational membership by serving on the Region 5 board of directors for the American Technical Education Association and a member of the National Business Education Association.

Description

Fundamentals of Insurance is designed to help students understand the basic concepts of insurance including risk, insurance contracts, types of insurers, and insurance regulation. This course also provides an understanding of different types of insurance policies used in the consumer and business industry.
