Professional Background
Pat McGee BS, MBA, is a Business Administration instructor with over 25 years of professional experience. She teaches in the traditional, hybrid and online Business programs. Pat has a B.S. degree from South Dakota State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Sioux Falls as well as a post-secondary credential from the South Dakota Board of Education. She teaches a variety of business classes including Supervisory Management, Business Communications, and Ethics. Pat has been an integral part of the development of the online Business Administration program at Southeast Tech. She provides consulting services to industry in the areas of communication and marketing.
The students will learn to communicate effectively in North American culture by preparing professional documents and learning to use the channels of communication best suitable for their audiences. Correct English, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading will also be emphasized. Students will become aware of message types and appropriate business tones. Professionalism in the workplace will be stressed throughout the course.
