This course is designed to give the student a strong background in managerial and cost accounting concepts, procedures, and reporting. The major topics of this course will be cost concepts and behavior, cost system design, job costing, process costing, cost volume-profit analysis, incremental analysis for decision making, budgetary planning and control, allocating costs to departments, activity-based costing, allocating joint costs and interpreting the statement of cash flows. Prerequisite: ACCT 211
