Jean Rose, BS, MA – Instructor in the Business Administration area at Southeast Technical Institute with over 25 years of professional experience that includes the positions of corporate officer and business manager of local businesses. Jean has enjoyed the privilege of being a part of the post-secondary education system in the roles of instructor and advisor. Jean holds both Secondary and Post-Secondary Certifications with the South Dakota Board of Education. As an educator, Jean has taught many business courses such as Principles of Accounting I and II, Introduction to Business, Business Communications and Business Law. Jean has been an integral part in the development of the online Business Administration Program at STI. Jean enjoys teaching in a variety of formats – Onl

Description

As a continuation of Principles of Accounting I, this course will examine partnerships, and corporations, as well as the statement of cash flows and financial analysis and ratios. It also surveys managerial accounting concepts - including budgeting, job-order cost systems, cost-volume-profit relationships, and performance evaluation measures. Prerequisite: ACCT 210 ("C" or higher required)
