My lifelong passion for cars has developed into a rewarding career for me. After graduating from high school at Miles City MT, I attended college at NDSCS in Wahpeton ND for Automotive Technology. I worked for 10 years as a technician at several GM dealerships. In 2000, I took a job as an instructor at a college in MN. To help stay current, I have worked in both an independent shop and dealerships part time during some summers and I take part in a lot of industry training. I enjoy almost everything about cars and have an interest in most areas. Some of my areas of strong interest are classic cars, street rods, racing, and new technology. I have a large range of interest, for example, I still own the first car I ever bought - a 66 Chevy, and have worked on pit crew of a super stock race team. I have also done specialized training in Hybrid and electric cars, and Alternative fuel vehicles.

I am  on special assignment in Academic Instruction and Tech Support, serving as a Module Manager for the Faculty LMS and Advising modules of our STInet system, and also assisting with Campus Scheduling. I will be training & troubleshooting system features and assisting faculty in putting courses and programs on the LMS.

Digital Media Production Technology

Nicholas Schneider, Digital Media Production Instructor, 10+ years of professional experience that includes web development, design, motion graphics and programming. He earned his Associate degree in Graphic Communications from Southeast Technical Institute, and is currently completing a Bachelor’s degree at Dakota State University. He also has been a member of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Artist), the professional association for design since 2006. He also served as the Lab Specialist for both Media Design and Digital Media Production for the 5 years, he assisted students and helped troubleshoot for both programs.
