If your vPC session sits idle for 10 hours without any activity, it will automatically be closed. If you were actively working on the vPC when you lost connection, check to be sure you are still connected to the internet. If your device wasn't plugged in to power when you lost connection, you may also want to check if your power settings allow the system to turn off your wireless connection to maximize battery life.
