Description
Lab course to reinforce Surgical Assisting. This course prepares students for the significant role of surgical assistant in the veterinary surgical team. Areas of focus will be on surgical instrument sterilization, maintenance and care, proper pre-surgical patient preparation, aseptic technique, surgical assisting and post-operative patient care. Prerequisite: VET 200, VET 210, VET 210L Corequisite: VET 215
