Description
This course is an introductory study of the various aspects of the world of veterinary medicine and the role of the veterinary assistant, technician, and veterinarian. Students will learn about animal identification, husbandry, behavior, restraint, and physical examinations pertaining to small, large, and exotic species. General office procedures and veterinary software will also be included, along with the concepts of ethics and professionalism. Corequisite: VET 120
