Description

This intermediate lab course expands on the foundational principles learned in ST 110L, providing continued development and practical application of perioperative techniques. Students engage in complex simulations including patient identification, positioning, prepping, catheterization, draping, and sterile field maintenance. Emphasis is placed on proper use of specialty instruments and equipment, emergency preparedness, and surgical team collaboration. Prerequisite: All 1st semester ST/HC courses Corequisite: ST 100, ST 120
