Jennifer Castello Pagán, originally from Puerto Rico, has 18 years of experience as an educator in various educational settings. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts of Education, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Spanish Instruction, and is currently completing a Doctorate in Leadership and Instruction in Distance Education. She works at Jefferson High School as a teacher of Spanish II, Spanish IV, Spanish for Spanish Speakers, and AP Spanish, inspiring her students to develop linguistic and cultural skills in a dynamic and blended learning environment.

Description

Conversational Spanish I is an introductory Spanish course that emphasizes the development of conversational Spanish skills. Students will learn and practice in the four modes of communication--reading, writing, speaking, and listening. However, the course will focus on developing speaking and listening comprehension skills. This course is highly recommended for students with little to no prior experience with the Spanish language. Furthermore, it is designed for students who wish to begin to develop conversational Spanish skills for use in the workplace.
