Office Hours: 30 minutes before and after class time.

Kristin Wellnitz

Educational Background:

Kristin attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She received a degree in Psychology, with a minor in Leadership Communications, and a concentration in Spanish. Following her undergraduate degree, she attended the University of South Dakota to pursue a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology in Education, with specialty areas in School and Community Agency Counseling. Kristin is also a Nationally Certified Counselor.

Description

A sociological analysis of the causes and proposed solutions of contemporary social problems confronting society today. It includes an analysis of the significance of the problems and current policies and actions. The course is designed to encourage debate and to get students to consider different positions or viewpoints with regard to social issues.
