Description
This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the field of respiratory care. In this course, students will examine the historical development of respiratory care, develop a comprehensive introductory understanding of the roles and responsibilities carried out by Respiratory Therapists, and become well-versed in essential terminology. Moreover, students will be introduced to a range of equipment and practices that form the foundation of respiratory therapy, preparing them to build upon their knowledge in subsequent program courses.
