Kristin Wellnitz

Educational Background:

Kristin Wellnitz earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, with a minor in Leadership Communications and a concentration in Spanish. She went on to complete a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology in Education at the University of South Dakota, specializing in School and Community Agency Counseling. Kristin is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has served  as a full-time Psychology Instructor at Southeast Technical College since December 2010.

  • Monday/Wednesday - 1:15-1:45 p.m.

Sean Lemke

After graduating from Augustana University in 2023, majoring in Psychology and Anthropology, with minors in Biology, Neuroscience and Philosophy, Sean began working as a Professional Tutor in the Academic Resource Center at STC. During his time at the ARC, he has helped students with various different courses- Psychology, English, Anatomy & Physiology, and many more. Sean will be teaching his first course at STC in the Fall of 2024.

By far his most favorite part of the job is watching students grow. Sean takes great pride in providing students the tools and skills to help promote themselves and their career, a space for reflection and growth, and acting as a scaffolding to help people achieve a better version of themselves.
