Description
Students will learn basic clinical and diagnostic chemistry techniques and procedures related to the analytical chemical procedure such as identification, specimen collection and handling, proteins, carbohydrates, enzymes, chemical mathematics, electrolytes, therapeutic drug monitoring, endocrinology, and toxicology. This course will demonstrate the clinical significance of chemistry analytical testing while correlating results. Quality Control will be emphasized. Prerequisite: CHEM 106, CHEM 106L, MLT 105, MLT 110, MLT 110L, MLT 125, MLT 125L, MLT 130, MLT 130L, MLT 135, MLT 135L, MLT 140, MLT 140L Corequisite: MLT 206L
