Applied Mechanics Technical physics in an introduction to the physical nature of our world. Through discussion and application exercises, an understanding of force, motion, friction, work, energy, electromagnetic waves and their interrelationships will be presented. A strong emphasis is placed on mechanical action and operations with attention paid to tool use and safety.
