Description

Examines the distinctions between civil and criminal law, delineates and describes civil-court processes, including statutes of limitation and service of process, and explores laws from varied sources covering, among other things, amercement, asset forfeiture, debt collection, court security, civil liability for criminal justice professionals and mental-illness-commitment procedures. Prerequisite: Law Enforcement Science Core
