My name is Garrett Welsh. I am an active Deputy Sheriff, with Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. I work as a, Patrol Deputy, as well as an instructor in, Defensive Tactics, Firearms, and Field Training Officer. I have been with the department coming up on 4 years and I grew up in a law enforcement household, where my father was a State Trooper.

I will be holding office hours at 0700 hours in my regular class room. Please email me with any questions or comments. I enjoy an open format class with lots of discussion. Law Enforcement is a rapidly and ever changing environment with many variables, learning and creating an understanding of not just how things are done; but why they are done is critical to being effective.
