Description

Students will learn about heat transfer for fossil fuel and electric heat equipment used in residential conditioned spaces. Students will calculate BTU inputs/outputs, airflow volumes, and duct pressures. Students will learn to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of heating equipment including fossil fuel and electric heat furnaces, tube, and unit heaters.
