Instructor Bio

Andrew Kibbe, (MEd, CNMT) is an instructor in the Health Core at Southeast Technical Institute. He currently teaches courses in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and other health subjects. Prior to earning a BS in General Studies and a Master of Education degree from South Dakota State University, Andrew graduated from technical medical programs in radiologic technology and nuclear medicine technology while serving in the US Army. Andrew has been a faculty member at STI since September 1994 and is registered by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Andrew currently serves as the program advisor for the Phlebotomy Technician Program.

Description

Designed to provide basic principles of medical word building. These principles once learned, can readily be applied to develop an extensive medical vocabulary. CD's are included and benefit students in pronunciation and definition of each word. Once satisfactory completed, students will be able to adequately communicate in the health industry.
