I am a Health Core instructor teaching courses that students are required to take before entering into one of the healthcare fields offered here at Southeast tech. 


Work Experience:

Over thirty years of nursing experience ranging from Medical-Surgical, Neurology, Orthopedic, Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care, Executive Management, Cardiology.  


Education Background:

Diploma of Nursing, St. Luke's School of Nursing

R.N. to M.S.N with Education Specialty, Walden University

Description

This course is an introduction to health care focusing on the health care team and delivery systems. Students will learn about health care culture, structure, economics, quintuple aim and professionalism. Interprofessional collaboration will be a main theme in this course, providing students' knowledge of other team members' roles, communication, and conflict-management strategies.
