Catherine J. Miller, BS, LPN, RVT, Director of the Vascular Ultrasound program, has 35+ years of professional experience that includes medical-surgical nursing, vascular ultrasound sonographer and post secondary education. She has earned her Baccalaurette in Health Care Management from Belluvue University in Omaha, NE, Licensed Practical Nursing from Worthington, MN, and Registered Vascular Technologist from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). She has taught at the post-secondary level and holds a post-secondary credential from the South Dakota Board of Education. As an educator, Catherine has taught health core courses such as Patient Care, Introduction to Cardiovascular and all coursed pertaining to Vascular Ultrasound. Catherine is involved with (CAAHEP JRC-CVT) Joint Review Committee of Cardiovascular Technology Technology as a site reader and visitor of fellow Vascular Ultrasound Programs throughout the United States.

Description

This course is designed to assist the Early Childhood student in developing the necessary basic knowledge and skills through the American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED course. Upon successful completion of the course they will receive an AHA Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED course completion card.
