Description

Motivation is both intrinsic and extrinsic and is impacted by personal, societal, and learning contexts.  In this workshop, motivation strategies for adult learners are discussed, applied, and modeled.  Faculty will be equipped to employ a variety of motivation strategies that account for a variety of learning styles in order to facilitate and promote learning.  This workshop will connect personal motivation preferences, adult learning strategies, and Wlodkowski’s 5 pillars for motivation and the Motivational Framework for Culturally Responsive Teaching.
