Description

The new adjunct instructor’s role with teaching and learning is primary as they utilize strategies and resources that meet the learning needs of students. Activities that promote student engagement, as well as a variety of assessment strategies that account for the learning styles of students will also facilitate and promote student learning. Instructors will learn how to utilize teaching and learning strategies, as well as connect course outcomes, assessment strategies, and student learning by developing tools that can be immediately implemented in courses.

New Adjunct Instructors will also be introduced to Southeast Tech and its mission, vision and values, as well as the campus support offices that assist the instructor in servicing the student. Instructors will explore base technologies used at Southeast Tech for all employees, as well as become proficient in administering the LMS (learning management system) at STC for their courses.
