Description

In this course, students will continue to build upon their knowledge of the knobology of the ultrasound machines, Ultrasound Physics principles, and Vascular Sonography protocols. Students will optimize images to meet industry standards and master all Vascular Sonography protocols including upper extremity venous and arterial duplex examinations, lower extremity venous and arterial duplex examinations, and carotid duplex examinations. This course will focus on students' abilities to obtain images needed for each protocol, image optimization, and successful role-playing activities in preparation for their clinical internship.
