Description
This is a practical skills course to accompany theory presented in CVI 202. The student will be performing the diagnostic and interventional procedures discussed in the lecture course. The student will be performing these procedures in a controlled, simulated environment. Specific procedures the students will be exposed to include, but are not limited to, lower leg interventions; carotid and cerebral vascular angiography and interventions; aortography and aneurysm repairs; and venous evaluation and interventions. The student will be evaluated on their ability to perform the procedural skills, and their ability to critically think through procedural complications. Prerequisite: CVI 133 & CVI 133L , CVI 135 & CVI 135L Corequisite: CVI 202
