Description

Students will develop an understanding of the structure of ICD 10 PCS. Accuracy in abstracting information and applying ICD 10 PCS codes for the inpatient hospital setting will be the focus of this course. Procedure-based payment systems will be studied. The importance of ethical coding and compliance is reinforced. Prerequisite: CODE 110, CODE 120
