This one-week course prepares students to sit for the CPC Certification exam. Anatomy, Physiology and Medical Terminology are reviewed. Students practice coding a wide range of services such as E/M, Anesthesia, Surgical Services, Radiology, Pathology and Medicine. Accurate assignment of ICD 10 CM codes is reviewed along with diagnosis coding guidelines. Medical necessity and coding regulations, including compliance and reimbursement are reinforced. Students take a practice CPC examination. Prerequisite: CODE 120, CODE 122
