Chad Altwine, brings over 25 years of a technical management experience to the Construction Management instructor position. Chad began his career with a degree in Industrial Management with a minor in Business and emphasis in Construction. He started out as Technical Services Manager in manufacturing and then spent more than 15 years at both state and private Higher Ed institutions overseeing campus operations, facilities, and construction projects. Most recently, he has been working as a college and career readiness instructor.

Description

Introduces students to the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems of a building. This course not only will focus on the Mechanical and Electrical systems of a structure but will cover Plumbing, fire protection and illumination. Students will be required to use their previously learned math skills to solve energy problems, determine heat loss calculations and size plumbing systems.
