STI Instructor Bio:

 

Roger Morris, Computer Programming Instructor, has 39+ years of professional experience that includes the companies General Electric, Kodak, United States Coast Guard, Berkley Information Services as well as Southeast Technical Institute. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Missouri Institute of Technology. Roger is retired and now teaches adjunct classes.

 

Description

Students obtain actual work experience within their field of study. They will have the opportunity to apply knowledge learned in their completed CIS courses to real business situations and will continue to develop their technical skills and increase their comprehension of their profession by working with and learning from professionals within the computer technology industry. Eighteen contact hours per week during the semester are required to earn 3 credit hours (approximately 300 hours total). Prerequisite: CIS 130 plus a minimum of 4 credits in one programming language.
