About Your Instructor:

Cindy Roller, Computer Information Systems Programming instructor, has 25+ years of professional experience that includes Programmer Analyst and Project Manager. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (with both Management and Computer options) and her Associate of Science in Application Programming degree at Dakota State University. She has taught at the post secondary level and holds a post-secondary credential from the South Dakota Board of Education.

Description

Students obtain actual work experience within their field of study. They will have the opportunity to apply knowledge learned in their completed CIS courses to real business situations and will continue to develop their technical skills and increase their comprehension of their profession by working with and learning from professionals within the computer technology industry. Eighteen contact hours per week during the semester are required to earn 3 credit hours (approximately 300 hours total). Prerequisite: CIS 130 plus a minimum of 4 credits in one programming language.
