Description

Designed to provide students with the skills to gather and analyze information to create secure operating system security. This is a lecture-lab course that teaches students how to design a computer security solution. Students will have hands on experience in the hardening of server hardware and operating systems from the security standpoint. This course is based upon the CompTIA Security+ curriculum and helps students prepare for the Security+ certification exam. Prerequisite: CIS 160, CIS 180
