This course will introduce students to basic electronics with an emphasis on electronics principals in computer networking. Topics cover basics like AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, frequency, analog signals, electronic components, safety, and wire / cabling specifications. Other advanced topics will include power supplies, fuses, PoE (Power over Ethernet), power calculations watts / dB, modulation, throughput calculations, digital signals, and an introduction to programming languages.
